Ryan Dwiky Anggriawan, Jakarta – The Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno campaign team (BPN) debate manager Dian Islamiati Fatwa claims that the team is not worried by the latest poll results placing Prabowo inferior to incumbent candidate Jokowi.

The Indonesian Survey Circle (LSI) Denny JA had just released its poll results on Thursday, February 7, and reported that Prabowo is 20 percent behind Jokowi's electability. Dian argued that pollsters lack independence.

"The problem is that those [pollsters] got paid. Prabowo would never be able to afford to pay the pollsters because all of our sources were devoured," said Dian to Tempo today.

Dian continued by stating that the team is more confident in the results of smaller pollsters such as Median, which Dian says is based on actual conditions.

Two out of three pollsters that released their study; LSI Denny JA, Populi Center, and Median, ranked Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin higher than Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Uno electability wise. Only Median placed Prabowo on top.

Dian argues that the two-digit electability gap shown by LSI and Populi Center is nothing more than an attempt to please the incumbent candidates.
