Hendrik Yaputra, Jakarta – The Indikator Politik Indonesia Survey Agency reported that as many as 77.7 percent of the public are satisfied with President Prabowo Subianto's performance during one year of presidency. Meanwhile, 20.8 percent are dissatisfied, and 1.5 percent did not respond.
The survey, conducted to evaluate the first year of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's administration, took place from October 20 to 27, 2025.
The satisfaction rating has declined compared to the previous survey. During the first 100 days of Prabowo-Gibran's performance, Indikator recorded a 79.3 percent satisfaction rate for Prabowo's performance. Meanwhile, 16.9 percent of respondents admitted to being less satisfied or not satisfied at all. The survey itself was conducted from January 16 to 21, 2025.
For the one-year evaluation of Prabowo-Gibran, the sample withdrawal for the Indikator survey used the multistage random sampling method. A total of 1,220 people from various provinces participated in the survey. The selected respondents were interviewed face-to-face. The margin of error is approximately 2.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
"At present, about 77.7 percent of citizens are satisfied with President Prabowo Subianto's performance, while approximately 20.8 percent are less/not satisfied at all, and about 1.5 percent did not respond," said Founder and Chief Researcher of Indikator Politik Indonesia, Burhanuddin Muhtadi, as accessed on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The top five reasons for public satisfaction are: 19.5 percent due to eradicating corruption, 15.9 percent due to good performance and evidence, and 12.8 percent due to courage. "Frequent assistance" with 9.7 percent and the Free Nutritious Meal program with 8.0 percent," he said.
Meanwhile, the top five reasons for dissatisfaction are: no evidence of good performance and poor performance with 20 percent; assistance not being targeted correctly or evenly distributed with 14.1 percent; and work programs not running optimally with 13.6 percent. "Economic instability/worsening" with 8.1 percent and rampant corruption with 5.4 percent," he said.
In handling issues, Prabowo received good ratings. Handling issues received good ratings in terms of maintaining the availability of staple goods, with 7 percent being very good, 73 percent good, 17 percent poor, 1 percent very poor, and 1 percent did not respond. Then, maintaining national unity received 9 percent very good, 70 percent good, 13 percent poor, 2 percent very poor, and 7 percent did not respond.
Meanwhile, in ensuring freedom of expression and the right to express opinions, Prabowo received 5 percent very good, 66 percent good, 18 percent poor, 1 percent very poor, and 10 percent did not respond.
