Alfi Dinilhaq, Jakarta – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources announced on Tuesday plans to retire 13 coal-fired power plants due to their high carbon emissions.
The list includes major facilities such as the Suralaya plant in Cilegon, Banten, the Paiton plant in Probolinggo, East Java, and the Ombilin plant in Sijantang Koto, West Sumatra.
