Annisa Febiola, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto instructed the Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas, to review all existing regulations in Indonesia. The minister conveyed the president's directive during the first working meeting with Commission XIII of the House of Representatives (DPR) on Monday, November 4, 2024.
"The President tasked us with reviewing all laws, government regulations, and ministerial regulations," Supratman said.
According to the Law Minister, Prabowo's directive was intended to facilitate the realization of 2045 Golden Indonesia vision. "To synchronize and harmonize the steps toward 2045 Golden Indonesia," he said.
On the same occasion, Supratman also explained the current condition of his ministry, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, after being divided into three: the Ministry of Law, the Ministry of Immigration and Correction, and the Ministry of Human Rights.
The three new Prabowo-era ministries, he said, are undergoing a transitional process, but public services remain undisturbed despite it. "I assure that all public services continue to run normally despite the transition process."
