Jakarta – Four police officers were caught off guard when a terror suspect they arrested stabbed them with a machete in Batujajar, west Bandung, West Java, on Thursday.
The suspect, identified as SHS, was arrested at his home in Cibungur, National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Dedi Prasetyo said. "Four officers were injured during the arrest," Dedi was quoted as saying by kompas.com.
Police were able to take down SHS following the surprise attack. Dedi said the wounded officers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Along with SHS, police also apprehended several other suspects. (ami/dmr)
