Antara, Jakarta – Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) shows Indonesia is at the 17th place for the highest number of cases of Covid-19 by country, as quoted by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).
According to the data received in Jakarta on Monday, February 21, Indonesia has 5,197,505 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus, with 146,365 recorded deaths. In Indonesia, 4,514,782 people have recovered from Covid-19.
The United States is the country with the most cases recorded with more than 77.5 million. The US to date has recorded 921,948 Covid-19 deaths.
In terms of Covid relief funding, the Indonesian Covid-19 Task Force recorded three sources of income: domestic accounts, foreign accounts and donations.
Through domestic accounts, the fund collected has reached Rp57.3 billion. Funds in foreign accounts were recorded at Rp104.81 billion, while donations amounted to Rp78.2 billion.
As of February 20, Indonesia has received Rp240.32 billion total of funds coming through these three sources.
