Sri Mulyani, Nicke Widyawati makes Forbes 100 most powerful women list

Caesar Akbar, Jakarta – Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has once again been included in Forbes list of the 'world's 100 most powerful women' in 2020 alongside Pertamina president director nicke Widyawati.

Sri Mulyani, who also served as World Bank's managing director and COO, was ranked 78th in this year's list while the Pertamina boss is ranked higher in 25th spot.

Forbes.com writes, As minister of finance, Sri Mulyani is increasing state revenue through tax reforms that will expand e-filing services and boost taxpayer compliance and also mentioned the prestigious Best Minister award at the World Government Summit she received for her efforts to implement reforms.

Meanwhile, the website mentioned Nicke Widyawati as the second female-director of the state-owned energy firm which earned close to $55 billion in 2019 revenue and $2.5 billion in net profit on the year.

Forbes also mentioned that in spring 2020, Nicke Widyawati tempered investor expectations by revealing that she expected a 45% covid-related hit to company revenue.
