Antara, Jakarta – The Indonesian Military (TNI) and the National Police planned to establish a database post to monitor the public's compliance with the health protocols during the enforcement of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and the upcoming new normal phase in Central Jakarta.

"Menteng Sectoral Police, Military Districts Command (Kodim), and Subdistrict Military Command (Koramil) are preparing small posts to collect all data of violations up to its spread in Central Jakarta areas," said Menteng Sectoral Police Chief Sr. Comr. Guntur Muhammad Tariq in Jakarta, Thursday, May 28.

Violations that will be recorded, Guntur added, include people who do not wear hand gloves, face masks, and those who neglect the physical distancing rule.

The database posts will be opened up in eight points across Central Jakarta, in line with the number of posts of Sectoral Police and Koramil.

The monitoring posts, meanwhile, will be built in four MRT stations, train stations, and along Jalan MH Thamrin, as well as each floor of shopping malls.
