Friski Riana, Jakarta – The special staffers of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi will be paid a total of Rp51 million monthly, as stated in Presidential Regulation No. 144/2015.
The amount the staffers will get includes the salary, allowances, and income tax.
"Well, a special staff is not an easy job, they will be working for 24 hours," said presidential spokesperson Fadjroel Rachman at the state palace complex in Jakarta Friday, Nov. 22.
Fadjroel said there are 14 special staffers for this year from previously 13 staffers at Widodo's previous administration.
Among the 14 people, seven of them are millennials, namely Putri Tanjung (CEO and founder of Creativepreneur), Adamas Belva Syah Devara (founder of RuangGuru), Ayu Kartika Dewi (initiator of Sabang Merauke Movement), Angkie Yudistia (founder of Thisable Enterprise), Gracia Billy Mambrasar (Oxford scholarship grantee from Papua), Aminuddin Ma'aruf (former chairman of the Indonesia Muslim Students Movement), and Andri Taufan Garuda (CEO of Amartha).
The other seven special staff include Fadjroel, an academician Ari Dwipayana, an intellectual Sukardi Rinakit, an economist with the Megawati Institute Arif Budimanta, PKPI Chairman Diaz Hendropriyono, PSI cadre Dini Shanti Purwono, and personal assistant Anggit Nugroho.
