Dewi Nurita, Jakarta – Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo would give a sanction for state apparatus who were absent on the first day of work after 2019 Eid or Lebaran holiday, June 10. Tjahjo said that the punishment would be imposed to maintain the discipline in the ministry.
"ASN who did not come to work and not attend the flag ceremony today morning without reliable reason will receive a written warning from the secretary-general and a cut on the performance allowance," said Tjahjo releasing his statement through messaging application Whatsapp, Monday, June 10.
Employees who skipped off work would also face a three-day suspension. The sanction was exceptional for those who fall sick Tjahjo would also give a tolerance for those ASN who got imminent family business.
The joint decree of the Coordinating Ministry of Human Development and Cultural Affairs signed by three ministers namely PANRB Minister, Religious Affairs Minister, and Labor Minister stated the duration of National Holiday and Collective Leave 2019 was 20 days, consisting of 16 national holidays and 4 days of collective leave of Lebaran and Christmas. The collective leave of Lebaran fell on June 3, 4, and 7.
The schedule of Eid holiday for state apparatus was stipulated through a circular letter issued by PANRB Ministry, and the sanction for ASN who was absent on the first day of work was written as well.
