Mutia Yuantisya, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has issued Presidential Decree Number 4 of 2026, establishing a Task Force (Satgas) to accelerate government programs aimed at boosting economic growth.
The decree's considerations state that realizing the Asta Cita vision toward Indonesia Emas 2045, specifically in strengthening the people's economy, requires the swift execution of government programs to bolster economic expansion.
"To realize Asta Cita toward Golden Indonesia 2045 regarding the strengthening of the people's economy, an acceleration of government programs is necessary to support increased economic growth," reads the decree released on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Article 3 mandates that the Task Force reports directly to the President, with duties including the coordinated acceleration of the Economic Package Program, Economic Stimulus Program, and Government Priority Programs across various ministries and institutions.
Additionally, the Task Force is tasked with establishing integrated strategic steps, monitoring budget realization for supporting programs, and taking decisive action to resolve strategic bottlenecks. The body also carries out any other specific assignments directed by the President.
The Task Force's leadership, as detailed in Article 4, features Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto as Chairperson I and State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi as Chairperson II. They are supported by three deputy chairs: Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani, and National Development Planning Minister Rachmat Pambudy.
Member ranks comprise a broad spectrum of the cabinet, including the Ministers of Home Affairs, Manpower, Trade, Industry, Tourism, and Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning.
The roster further extends to the Ministers of Energy and Mineral Resources, Research and Technology, Agriculture, Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Public Works, Housing, Transportation, and Communication and Digital.
Rounding out the group are the Ministers of Cooperatives, MSMEs, Creative Economy, and Social Affairs, alongside heads of various strategic agencies, including the National Police, the Attorney General, BPKP, and the BP Danantara Implementing Agency.
Article 8 emphasizes that the Task Force is authorized to coordinate with central ministries, regional governments, and other stakeholders, with the decree retroactively effective from its enactment on March 11, 2026.
