Hendrik Yaputra, Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto claims that the government has shown tangible results in the first year of his leadership. According to Prabowo, the government has achieved commendable feats.
"I feel that in the one year of my leadership, we have proven to the entire Indonesian people tangible results. Achievements that we can be proud of," Prabowo said in his address at the annual meeting of Bank Indonesia (PTBI) 2025 at Graha Bhasvara Icchana, Bank Indonesia Head Office, Jakarta, on Friday, November 28, 2025.
He initially stated that Indonesia's economy shows promise amid global uncertainties. The world is experiencing a trade war, economic warfare, and hegemonic competition.
The ongoing warfare indicates signs of resolution. However, tensions are emerging elsewhere. Nonetheless, he is optimistic about Indonesia's economic condition.
Prabowo claims that the government has achieved tangible results to be proud of. According to Prabowo, these achievements are the result of collaboration in economic management. The President feels assisted by key figures in economic management.
"I express my gratitude, I have been blessed with a great destiny, I have been assisted by great people who have helped me. So, what we have achieved is the result of us all," he said.
Prabowo expressed his gratitude to Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, and Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo.
He also thanked Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto, and Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
"To the Coordinating Ministers, TNI Commander, Police Chief, Investment Minister, Danantara, DEN Chair, I feel our collaboration has proven to the people," he said.
Prabowo also thanked the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana. The free nutritious meal program (MBG) has reached 44 million beneficiaries. "Today, more than 44 million beneficiaries, children throughout Indonesia, pregnant women, young children," Prabowo said.
According to Prabowo, the BGN has also produced 2 billion meals and distributed them to beneficiaries. "I think this is a pretty proud achievement," he said.
Prabowo believes his government can manage Indonesia's economy effectively and honestly. Prabowo intends to run a clean, fair, and corruption-free government. "This is our determination, and this is the proof," he said.
Prabowo does not want Indonesia to depend on other countries. He wants this nation to be independent for the sake of the future. "We must believe in our own strength," he said.
