PTPP provides progress updates on Rp 11 trillion worth of projects in new capital

Teguh Adi Prasetyo, Jakarta – State-owned construction company PT PP has secured contracts totaling Rp 11.23 trillion ($692.5 million) for 13 projects in the new Indonesian capital, Nusantara.

One of these projects, the National Axis (Sumbu Kebangsaan) on the west side of phase 1, has already been completed, while two others, the IKN toll road segment 3B and the presidential office building, are nearing completion.

The National Axis serves as an open space connecting the Presidential Palace to the Mangrove Ecopark. It includes several key areas such as Ceremony Plaza, Civil Plaza/Flag Hill, Bhinneka Plaza, Science and Tech Park, Adi Budaya Plaza, Performance Plaza, and Democracy Plaza.

Yul Ari Pramuraharjo, PT PP's Director of Infrastructure Operations, stated that his team has completed several contract packages in the new capital. This includes KIPP 1 with a contract value of Rp 100 billion and KIPP 2 with a value of Rp 335 billion.

"Three packages have reached near 100 percent completion, while others are at various progress levels, ranging from over 10 percent to 50 percent," said Yul in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The progress of the 13 projects is as follows:

  • National Axis West Side Phase 1 (99.96 percent)
  • National Axis West Side Phase 2 (3.96 percent)
  • IKN Toll Road Segment 3B (76.46 percent)
  • IKN Toll Road Segment 3B (2.44 percent)
  • IKN Mosque Access Road (25.92 percent)
  • IKN VVIP Airport Airside (12.84 percent)
  • Section 6C-1 Road: SP.2 ITCI Intersection 1B (8.26 percent)
  • Presidential Office Building (80.35 percent)
  • State Palace and Ceremony Field (60.20 percent)
  • State Secretariat Building (53.06 percent)
  • Civil Servants Apartment (ASN) 1 (35.67 percent)
  • BI Office Complex Phase 1 (22.25 percent)
  • Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Ministry Wing 2 Building (0.86 percent)
