Septia Ryanthie, Jakarta – General Manager of state-run airport operator AP I Yani Ajat Hermawan said that at least 40 private jets landed at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Solo prior to the Ngunduh Mantu wedding procession of President Joko Widodo or Jokowi's youngest son Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono.

"From Wednesday [December 7, 2022] to Friday [December 9, 2022], there have been 40 private flights at Adi Soemarmo Airport," said Yani on Friday, December 9, 2022.

The number was estimated to increase until the wedding procession is over or even until Monday, December 12, 2022. Kaesang and Erina Gudono's marriage is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hall, Yogyakarta.

"There will be 48 traffic privates in total until December 12," Yani added.

According to Yani, the private jets will not stay at the airport. "Because the ground time is limited to 5-7 hours."

Among the private jets that will land during the wedding celebration is from United Arab Emirates (UAE), with wide-body aircraft 787. "It is planned to arrive in Solo on Dec. 11," Yani said.

Yani also said three ground handling were prepared to welcome the guests of Kaesang and Erina Gudono's wedding so that private jets will be served in a different area. As for regular flights, he ensured that the airport continued to serve scheduled airline flights as normal.
