Aristo Setiawan, Jakarta – Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) says that Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto would not be elected again as the country's leader if the election were held this Wednesday July 29.

SMRC conducted a survey from July 5-19, 2026. The organisation involved 749 randomly selected respondents in the survey and those selected were all Indonesian citizens who are eligible to vote..
The survey was conducted by telephone with 83.8 percent of respondents, while 16.2 percent or those without mobile phones were interviewed face-to-face.
