Ervana Trikarinaputri, Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto allows those who think Indonesia has a bleak future to look for another country. Prabowo expressed this during a speech at the peak of the National Cooperative Day celebration in the Senayan area, Jakarta.
In his speech, the Head of State expressed his belief that Indonesia is rich in natural resources and will rise. "Those who are doubtful, please just sit at home. Those who feel that Indonesia is bleak, if you want, look for another country. Please, no one is stopping you," Prabowo said on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
He also urged the people to unite and work together to prepare for Indonesia's rise. Prabowo emphasized that the strong should help the weak, while the weak should cooperate well.
The former Defense Minister also invited all elements of the Indonesian nation to abandon the culture of insulting, hating, and distrusting each other. "Let us return to the Indonesian nature of forgiving, understanding, loving, helping each other, not participating in the culture of insults, envy, and suspicion," Prabowo said.
For Prabowo, a nation will not succeed if it is still trapped in conflict. Differences in ethnic backgrounds and political choices, according to him, should not be a reason to become enemies. "Why should we fight? We are one family, regardless of our backgrounds, ethnicities, or parties. All parties have many patriots and also many scoundrels," he said.
