Jakarta – Indonesia said Wednesday that it had reported controversial adult star Bonnie Blue to UK authorities over her flag controversy.

A video of Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, disrespecting the Indonesian flag has gone viral on the internet. In that clip, the 26-year-old woman and several masked men were seen standing right outside the Indonesian Embassy in London.

Bonnie even had the Indonesian flag pinned to her skirt, causing it to trail along the ground. She also mocked her recent Bali arrest. Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman Yvonne Mewengkang said that Jakarta had taken action.

"Our embassy in London has filed an official complaint to UK authorities, including the Foreign Ministry and police force, to handle this case, in accordance with the applicable laws, procedures, and authorities in the UK," Yvonne said.

"The red and white flag is a symbol of sovereignty, honor, and national identity that must be respected by everyone, wherever they are."

Indonesia has imposed a 10-year entry ban on Bonnie Blue.

Earlier this month, police in Badung regency detained Bonnie Blue and more than a dozen foreigners at a studio in Pererenan, a coastal area popular with tourists and expatriates. The group was suspected of producing pornographic content.

Police later confirmed that while adult videos were found during the investigation, criminal charges related to pornography could not be pursued because the material was considered private documentation and had not been distributed publicly.

Despite the absence of criminal liability on pornography grounds, authorities continued to process the case on other legal fronts. Police cited traffic violations after Bonnie Blue and three other foreigners were found using an open-back vehicle bearing the slogan "Bonnie Blue's Bang Bus" while touring parts of Bali for content-related purposes. Bonnie Blue received a Rp 200,000 fine ($12) for violating Indonesia's traffic law.
