Wahroni, Tangerang – Immigration services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport have returned to normal, with no disruptions reported in passenger clearance or the functioning of automated gates, officials said on Tuesday.

"We are thankful that our servers have returned to normal and are operating quite steadily, both in passenger clearance and autogate services," said Edwin Mahardhika, Head of Immigration Section III at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, on Tuesday.

Edwin added that the Hajj repatriation process has proceeded smoothly, continuing at Terminal 2F of Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Additional personnel from the Immigration Office in Jakarta's Law and Human Rights Ministry have been deployed to assist.

"Earlier this morning, we received the first group of Hajj pilgrims, totaling 2,102 individuals from 8 embarkation points," he explained.

Lutfi, a passenger arriving from Jeddah, confirmed a seamless immigration process upon his arrival at Terminal 3 International Arrivals at Soetta.

"Thankfully, immigration checks proceeded smoothly without passenger queues. Perhaps it was also because of the quieter period," Lutfi said.

Earlier reports indicated that services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport's immigration were disrupted following a ransomware attack on the National Data Center (PDN) last Thursday. The attack caused significant delays and long queues, with hackers demanding a ransom of $8 million (approximately Rp 131 billion) for the return of stolen data.
