Antara, Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chairperson Firli Bahuri said that the Deputy for Coordination and Supervision (Korsup) managed to save state finances of Rp16.27 trillion in the first half of 2023.
"In an effort to save state finances, KPK through the Deputy for Coordination and Supervision has saved Rp16.27 trillion in the first semester of 2023," Firli said at a press conference on KPK Performance for Semester I 2023 at the KPK HQ in South Jakarta, on Monday night, August 14, 2023.
Firli said this was thanks to the work of the deputy in the sector of controlling regional property and optimizing regional taxes. Specifically, the anti-corruption agency managed to certify regional properties worth Rp8.1 trillion, save regional properties worth Rp1.95 trillion, control official vehicles worth Rp227 billion, control public infrastructure and facilities worth Rp4.7 trillion, as well as optimize taxes worth Rp1.7 trillion.
The KPK's Deputy for Coordination and Supervision is tasked with coordinating with agencies authorized to carry out corruption eradication and agencies charged with implementing public services. This deputy is also authorized to supervise these agencies.
