Moh. Khory Alfarizi, Jakarta – Indonesia's non-tax state revenue (PNBP) amounted to Rp302.1 trillion at the end of June 2023, reflecting a 5.5 percent year-on-year growth. The mid-year non-tax revenue total is 68.5 percent of 2023's target.

"This positive achievement was mainly driven by an increase in non-oil and gas natural resource (SDA) revenue (120.8 percent of the target)," Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said in a press conference streamed live on YouTube, Monday, June 24.

This, the minister said, was due to adjustments in the tariffs for coal production or royalties with the enactment of Government Regulation No. 26/2022 on the Tariffs of PNBP Types applied to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

Meanwhile, oil and gas natural resource revenues amounted to 45.8 percent of the target. There was a slowdown due to the decline in Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) and oil lifting. "Non-tax revenues from other sources (73.2 percent of the target) experienced a slight decrease," said Sri Mulyani.

Sri Mulyani reported that overall state revenues continued to perform well until the end of June 2023, reaching an amount of Rp1,407.9 trillion or 57.2 percent of the target for the 2023 state budget (APBN). The value also reflected a 5.4 percent (yoy) increase.
