Fikri Arigi, Jakarta – Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Wiranto asked the police to be transparent in processing the May 22 riot case so as to tackle speculations circulating in the public.

"Whatever the investigation results will be, I ask the police to report the investigation results to the public, as clear as possible," said Wiranto as he opened a meeting of state ministers at his headquarters on Monday, June 10.

Wiranto also expressed that he demands detailed reports on the May 22 riots, especially about the legal issues that are currently ongoing that incriminated known political figures.

"So there will no longer be any speculations that will further baffle the public," Wiranto said.

The limited meeting was attended by National Police Chief Tito Karnavian, Home Affairs Minister Tjahjo Kumolo, Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Laoly, Armed Forces (TNI) Commander Hadi Tjahjanto, Attorney General Muhammad Prasetyo, and Defense Minister Ryamirzad Ryacudu.
