Eka Yudha Saputra, Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has asked the victims of the Sumatra floods to be patient. The central government will help those affected by the disaster.

"The government will definitely come down and help, especially those who have been affected by the disaster. We are also human beings and do not have the staff of the Prophet Moses," said Prabowo when visiting the Al Abrar Takengon Great Mosque Evacuation Post, Central Aceh, on Thursday, December 12, 2025.

Prabowo promises to build permanent housing for flood victims. He stated that the central government has allocated a budget, but it will take time because everything cannot be done so quickly.

"We are doing our best. I ask for stamina and patience. We will definitely help everyone, just rest assured," he said.

Prabowo made this promise after hearing a complaint from Raodah, a victim, at the Al Abrar Takengon Great Mosque Evacuation Post. Raodah said that the residents urgently need logistics support, clean water, electricity, and communication signals.

"I hope Bapak will help my relatives' homes affected by the disaster as soon as possible. I hope so, Pak," said Raodah.
