Eka Yudha Saputra, Jakarta – The spokesperson for 212 Reunion rally, Aziz Yanuar, stated that the grand reunion to be held at Monas Field, Central Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025, will begin with a collective dhikr and a Salat al-Ghaib, or Absentee funeral prayer, for the victims of Sumatra floods.

Aziz mentioned that the dhikr and Salat al-Ghaib will commence from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time). "The silent prayer will be dedicated to the victims of natural disasters within the country and abroad," Aziz told Tempo on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Following the silent prayer, the event will continue with speeches from various community and government figures. Aziz stated that the speakers will include the 212 Reunion committee, the Governor of DKI Jakarta, and the Deputy Minister of Religion.

Aziz mentioned that President Prabowo Subianto will also deliver a speech if invited to the 212 Reunion.

Other figures of mass organizations who will deliver speeches include Imam Dewan Pimpinan Pusat Front Persaudaraan Islam (FPI) Ahmad Qurthubi Jaelani; Chair of the Gerakan Nasional Pengawal Fatwa (GNPF) Yusuf Muhammad Martak, and Chair of the Dewan Tinggi Nahdlatul Ulama Persada 212 Shobri Lubis. Also present will be constitutional law expert Refly Harun and former Member of the Regional Representative Council Marwan Batubara.

Aziz mentioned that the event will conclude with a collective prayer before 12:00 AM WIB.

The Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Polda Metro Jaya) has warned the public about traffic density in the afternoon due to the 212 Reunion event. Chief of Traffic Directorate of Jakarta Metropolitan Police Commissioner General Komarudin stated that the police have prepared traffic engineering as a precaution. The streets predicted to be congested are Jalan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Merdeka Timur, Jalan Merdeka Utara, and Jalan Merdeka Selatan.

"Therefore, we advise the people of Jakarta or those who are in Jakarta to avoid those streets," said Komarudin to reporters at Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Jakarta Metropolitan Police has also prepared parking areas for this event, but in limited numbers. Participants who arrive by bus will be directed to Jalan Haji Benyamin Sueb, while private vehicle drivers will be directed to IRTI Monas and Masjid Istiqlal parking lots. "Then, Pertamina can also be used," said Komarudin.

Traffic diversion will be carried out situationally. "If it is predicted that there will still be substantial crossings or large-scale mobilization, we will do early diversion," he added.

If based on street observations it is still passable, the police will keep it open for public activities.

Komarudin suggested that the participants of the reunion arrive using public transportation, considering the density of activities in Jakarta, especially during rush hours. "So that we can anticipate the limited parking spaces available and also the circulation of public activities that coincide with the end of working hours," he said.

Jakarta Metropolitan Police will also deploy 1,214 security personnel to secure this event. The police anticipate the arrival of participants from out of town at 67 points in ring 1, ring 2, and ring 3. "Including junctions that are quite crowded, such as Harmoni, Tugu Tani, and Sarinah, which may be affected," said Komarudin.
