Aliy Arivin, Jakarta – The Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) DPP, Danik Eka Rahmanigtyas, has condemned the forced disbandment of a Christian student retreat in the Cidahu District of Sukabumi Regency. She referred to the action as a form of intolerance.

"The perpetrators have violated the constitutional rights of every citizen to practice their respective beliefs and religions," said Danik, based on a press release on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Danik urged the police to earnestly investigate the case. "The law must be upheld. Investigation and prosecution must be carried out promptly. The perpetrators should be given a fitting punishment to serve as a deterrent," Danik continued.

Danik hopes that similar incidents will not occur again. She also called on local authorities and the police to be more vigilant against the ongoing practices of intolerance. "Finally, PSI urges all parties to remain calm and patient, and not to be provoked. We leave the process to the legal authorities," Danik concluded.
