He asserted that a clean government is a prerequisite for achieving prosperity. "History teaches us that a corrupt government cannot bring prosperity to the people," Prabowo said, as monitored online from the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

To establish a clean government, the head of state acknowledged the value of learning from the Ottoman Empire or the Turkish Ottoman. He shared insights gained from the Turkish Ottoman, particularly regarding the crucial role of the military in governance. "The military means the army, police, and government," he explained.

A strong military, according to the former defense minister, can only be forged through adequate funding. Without sufficient funds, he argued, prosperity remains unattainable. A lack of prosperity inevitably leads to an unhappy and impoverished populace.

He concluded that a clean and fair government is essential for the happiness and prosperity of the nation's people. "[The lesson] is clear. Where does the money come from? From the people through taxes and levies. If they are unhappy, the people will be reluctant to pay taxes," he said.

Therefore, those in positions of power must be accountable to the people. Prabowo declared that the people are the true masters of power. He further cautioned that failure to uphold loyalty to the people will have detrimental consequences for the nation's progress.
