Jakarta – As many as 149 ownership certificates for the new houses belonging to the people that got affected by the Rempang Eco-City Project in Tanjung Banon are out, according to BP Batam.
The agency's spokesperson Sazani said that the certificates were a breath of fresh air for the people who had supported the investment plan in Rempang.
"Currently, 149 plots have been confirmed. This number will continue to increase," Sazani was quoted as saying in a press statement.
The certificates are also part of the government's commitment to resolve the rights of those affected by the Rempang Eco-City project.
"This is also an answer for those who doubt BP Batam's commitment. Let's support it so that everything goes well," Sazani said.
For the initial stage, BP Batam will continue to push for the construction of new houses in Tanjung Banon according to the existing target. Construction work for 100 houses is still ongoing, while some have even entered the completion stage.
"BP Batam is also aiming to have three families move to the finished houses on Sep. 25. We are doing this in stages," Sazani said.
