Eka Yudha Saputra and Yohanes Maharso Joharsoyo (Antara), Jakarta – The Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair was ahead in the re-voting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was held on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Based on the (PSU) result, D document, seen by Tempo, the pair of candidate number 02 received 6,266 votes out of a total of 12,357 votes.

Meanwhile, pair number 01, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, came in second with 4,674 votes, and pair number 03, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md., only received 1,134 votes. There were 12,074 valid votes cast in PSU Kuala Lumpur.

The number of permanent voters (DPT) who exercised their right to vote was low compared to the DPT determined by the KPU of 62,217 voters.

The Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) chairman Rahmat Bagja said that there was a lack of information about the re-vote. He explained that two factors caused this: voters did not receive the Model C Notification to vote and a copy of the list of permanent voters overseas (DPTLN) was not posted on the bulletin board at the polling station (TPSLN) and mobile polling station (KSK) locations, causing voters to be confused about whether they were on the DPT or the Special Voters List (DPK).

Based on the results of the national vote count from 127 overseas polling stations, Prabowo-Gibran was ahead in 67 overseas cities with 421,605 votes, followed by Ganjar-Mahfud who won in 38 overseas cities with 117,351 votes. Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin won only in 22 overseas cities with a total of 120,085 votes.
