Jakarta – A Prabowo-Gibran campaign team member recently revealed that Erick Thohir and Bahlil Lahadalia, among others, would likely return to the next cabinet.

Anggawira, who chairs Repnas, an association of young entrepreneurs who support the election pairing, revealed the high possibility of three current ministers returning. They were State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir and Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia. Anggawira also mentioned Sandiaga Uno, who is now the tourism minister.

"There are some ministers who have done a good job, and will likely join Prabowo-Gibran's cabinet. Perhaps Mr. Bahlil ... because he gave a boost to the investment programs. It could also be Mr. Erick and Mr. Sandi. I would say they are considering those names," Anggawira told news broadcaster BTV on Tuesday.

According to Anggawira, Prabowo would likely keep the current ministers who are already in his coalition by making some adjustments to the positions and composition. Prabowo is expected to also recruit ministers from other parties in the coalition, volunteers, and professionals.

There is also still a possibility of ministers from the professional circles such as Finance Minister Sri Mulyani and Public Works Minister Basuki Hadimuljono coming back.

"The possibility is always there. ... Mr. Basuki is a two-term [public works] minister. I think things need to change in the coming period, especially since infrastructure development can be challenging. I think Mr. Basuki can become a coordinating minister, considering his experience of infrastructure development and his hard-worker trait," Anggawira said.
