Iksan Reliubun, Jakarta – The disparities of vote data in the 2024 presidential election between the actual count documents or C1 Forms and the vote count displayed on the General Election Commission's (KPU) website pemilu2024.kpu.go.id are striking.
The difference in votes received by the three presidential and vice presidential candidates between the web and manual counts was evident in the vote count at the polling station or TPS 094 in Cianjur, West Java.
On the KPU website, candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan – Muhaimin Iskandar received 222 votes. However, according to the manual count, they only garnered 112 valid votes.
Similarly, Prabowo Subianto – Gibran Rakabuming Raka was recorded as having 884 votes on the website, while the manual count showed 84 valid votes. Candidate number 3 Ganjar Pranowo – Mahfud Md also had 817 votes on the website, while the manual vote tally showed only 17 valid votes.
KPU Commissioner Idham Holik stated that the data discrepancy was due to inaccuracies in Sirekap's computing technology in reading data originating from photos of Form C1 documents.
The preliminary results of the vote count on the website are derived from the members of the election committee (KPPS), who uploaded the photo of the C1 Forms to the recapitulation information system or Sirekap application.
"In this regard, the data will be corrected during the recapitulation at the PPK (District Election Committee)," Idham told Tempo in a text message on Wednesday evening, February 14.
Idham said the data correction would take place in front of witnesses and the District Election Supervisor (Panwascam) in the sub-district election committee recapitulation meeting forum or PPK.
"This is the function of Sirekap; to control and make transparent the election results at the TPS," Idham emphasized.
