Advist Khoirunikmah, Han Revanda Putra, Jakarta – The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team or TKN planned to report the Central Jakarta Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to the Election Organization Ethics Council (DKPP).

The camp's Alpha Deputy Commander, Fritz Edward Siregar, assessed that Central Jakarta Bawaslu was not professional when it summoned Gibran Rakabuming Raka for clarification regarding the distribution of milk to children at the Jakarta Car Free Day or CFD event on December 3, 2023.

"We will report the chairman and members of the Central Jakarta Bawaslu to the DKPP for reasons of unprofessionalism," said Fritz, who is the former leader of Bawaslu for the 2017 – 2022 period, at a press conference in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, January 2.

In response to the planned report, the Central Jakarta Bawaslu considered it as a risk in carrying out its duties. "It's okay. It's the risk of the job," Central Jakarta Bawaslu chairman Christian Nelson Pangkey told Tempo via text message, on Wednesday morning, January 3.

Fritz gave two reasons for the planned report. First, in the summons letter for Gibran Rakabuming, the examination date was listed as January 2, 2023, instead of January 2, 2024. Second, he said that Central Jakarta Bawaslu failed to comply with Bawaslu Regulation No. 7 of 2022 which stipulates that alleged violations can be investigated no later than seven days after the date of the incident.
