Dewi Nurita, Jakarta – Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law, and Security Affairs Wiranto mentioned in a meeting today a public figure overseas that always stirred Indonesian citizens to making unconstitutional movements domestically.

Wiranto elaborated this at a coordination meeting of state ministries following the 2019 general elections.

"There is a figure who is currently overseas and always provoking Indonesian citizens into taking unconstitutional steps. That is not allowed, we must discuss the legal steps we must take," said Wiranto at his office today.

Wiranto, however, did not specificy the person's identity in the meeting. He added this particular person's actions had disrupted the security of the elections – before and after they were held.

"That is why we are holding this meeting today, to assert and pinpoint violating acts that need to be dealt with. There shall be no hesitation [to act] as this should be a warning for certain people to not act as they wish in our lawful country," said Wiranto.
