Ryan Dwiky Anggriawan, Jakarta – Vice presidential candidate Sandiaga Uno criticized 31 regional heads in Central Java for publicly declaring support for the incumbent candidate Joko Widodo or Jokowi.

"Because this is people's election, not for the regional head. So, let the people choose," said Sandiaga at Rumah Djoeang, Jalan Wijaya I, South Jakarta, Sunday, January 27.

Sandiaga explained that he and his pair Prabowo Subianto would not let the people feel as if they were left by their own regional head whom he deemed concerned on things outside their responsibility.

He opined that the public wanted the government who was there to defend them. Thus, his community economy program dubbed OK OCE is an example of Prabowo – Sandiaga's act that defending the economy of the community.

"This is what we hope, with OK OCE movement, the public will feel that Prabowo – Sandiaga is there to improve their living standard," he said.

As many as 31 regional heads in Central Java held a support declaration for Jokowi – Ma'ruf pair in Solo, Saturday, January 26. Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo presented in the event.
