Andita Rahma, Jakarta – Worker's Social Security Agency (BPJS ketenagakerjaan) Supervisory Board Member Syafri Adnan Baharuddin will file a police report today against RA, a suspected rape victim, at the Police Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) headquarters.
"My client will file a police report," said Syafri's lawyer Memed on Sunday, January 6.
Syafri is implicated in an alleged rape and numerous sexual harassment allegations against RA, who already reported him on Tuesday, January 3.
According to his lawyer, Syafri plans to report RA for a suspected violation of the overbearingly broad "rubber law" Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE) and the Criminal Code (KUHP).
According to Memed, the reports against Amel will be layered with suspected defamation against Syafri by spreading lies of the alleged rape, the social media posts by RA that seemed to corner Syafri, and RA's other sexual harassment allegations that Syafri claims are untrue.
"There is evidence that has been presented to the police," said Memed despite not explaining in detail what the piece of evidence is. He also maintained that Syafri is merely seeking justice and not willingly filing a police report as a means to compete with the police report RA filed last week.
