Antara, Jakarta – The United Pati Society Alliance (AMPB) dispersed and left the Parliament (DPR/MPR) building in Central Jakarta after receiving a commitment from the DPR leadership to complete the Asset Forfeiture Bill on Thursday, August 27.

Observations at the location, as reported by ANTARA, showed that the crowd from Pati began to gradually leave the protest area after AMPB Coordinator Supriyono, also known as Botok, conveyed the results of the audience with DPR representatives to the protesters.

At around 12.00 p.m., Botok read the letter of commitment from the DPR leadership to the masses who were still in front of the Parliament building. In the letter, the DPR leadership expressed its commitment to completing the drafting of the Asset Forfeiture Bill no later than December 15, 2026.

After hearing the contents of the commitment, the AMPB masses then gradually dispersed. Some participants were seen walking towards the bus that had been prepared to take them back to Pati, Central Java.

The crowd left the Parliament building area in an orderly manner and there was no visible chaos when the protesters dispersed. Several protesters also expressed their gratitude to the masses and community elements who attended the demonstration.

According to observation, the bus carrying the AMPB masses then left the area in front of the Parliament building towards Palmerah.

Previously, AMPB masses held a protest demanding that the DPR immediately complete and ratify the Asset Forfeiture Bill as part of efforts to strengthen the eradication of corruption.

During the action, AMPB masses conveyed their aspirations in front of the Parliament building, and some of their representatives attended an audience with the DPR.

After receiving a commitment to complete the Asset Forfeiture Bill, the protesters chose to end their demonstration and return home.
