Vedro Imanuel Girsang, Jakarta – The legal team of Andrie Yunus, who is part of the Advocacy Team for Democracy (TAUD), has spoken out about the visit from the Military Prosecutor's Office II-07 Jakarta to RS Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM).
Their presence is suspected to be related to checking on the condition of the Vice Coordinator of KontraS after being a victim of an acid attack by the Indonesian National Armed Forces Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS TNI).
TAUD representative, Airlangga Julio, stated that Andrie had advised against accepting visits from prosecutors. "Reject anyone from the TNI institution who wants to visit," said Airlangga on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
According to Airlangga, his client is determined to refuse the military legal process. On the other hand, Andrie and his legal team have not received a physical examination summons.
Based on Tempo's observation, representatives from the Military Prosecutor's Office II-07 Jakarta appeared at the RSCM Kencana building's lobby around 10:05 AM. They immediately went to the service desk and consulted for the visit.
Another TAUD representative, Daniel Winarta, stated that they received information about the military prosecutors' visit from the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). "The Military Auditorate will visit RSCM," said Daniel on Monday, May 11, 2026.
According to Daniel, the visit is suspected to be related to the plan to have Andrie as a witness in the trial. "Because the judge asked the Auditor whether they had visited or not," said Daniel to Tempo.
Previously, the Chief Judge Fredy Ferdian Isnartanto had questioned the prosecutors' efforts to summon Andrie Yunus as a witness in the trial. Fredy stated that the court has the authority to summon Andrie. Meanwhile, the military auditors stated that they are still trying to bring Andrie to the courtroom.
"We are still sending letters to the hospital and our last letter has not been answered," said the military prosecutors in court on Thursday, May 7, 2026.
