Prabowo's official agenda in Sydney

Eka Yudha Saputra, Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto departed for Sydney, Australia, this Tuesday afternoon, November 11, 2025. Prabowo and his entourage left from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, to Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport at 11.55 AM WIB (Western Indonesia Time).

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the one-day state visit would include several important agendas. He mentioned that the visit would also reaffirm Indonesia's commitment to strengthening strategic relations with Australia.

"During this one-day visit, the President is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and attend state ceremonies led by Australian Governor General Sam Mostyn," Teddy said in his written statement on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Furthermore, Teddy mentioned that during the visit, the head of state will also attend several other meetings. Various discussions at these meetings will cover cooperation in trade, investment, education, and industrial partnerships.

He added that this visit to Sydney is a response to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's visit to Indonesia. "This visit is also a form of reciprocation for Prime Minister Albanese's visit to Jakarta last May, a day after he was re-elected as the Prime Minister of Australia," Teddy stated.

Accompanying the President on this bilateral visit are Foreign Minister Sugiono and Teddy Indra Wijaya. Before the departure, Prabowo led a closed-door limited cabinet meeting at the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The limited meeting was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center Ivan Yustiavandana, and Teddy Indra Wijaya.
