Intan Setiawanty, Jakarta – The Central Java Regional Police stated that the alleged intimidation case involving the Sukatani band is currently being handled by the Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters (Polri). Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Head Commissioner Artanto stated that the examination of the case is currently under the jurisdiction of Propam of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters.
"Propam of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters is conducting the examination," said Artanto to Tempo when contacted on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Sukatani uploaded a video apologizing to the National Police Chief and the police institution after their song entitled "Bayar Bayar Bayar" (Pay Pay Pay) went viral on various social media platforms. Furthermore, Sukatani also stated that they were pulling the song from circulation and requested their followers to delete the artwork from their social media platforms.
Central Java Regional Police previously stated that they would follow up on reports related to this incident. With the involvement of Propam of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters in the examination, this case is currently under the internal police supervision.
Tempo has attempted to contact the Head of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters' Professional and Security Division, Inspector General Abdul Karim, and the Head of the Subdivision of Security Maintenance of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters' Professional and Security Division, Commissioner Bambang Satriawan, regarding the development of the examination. However, as of the writing of this article, they have not responded and there has been no official statement from Propam of the Indonesian National Police Headquarters.
