Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Pamulang-Cinere-Raya Bogor Toll Road at the Limo Utama Toll Gate in Depok, West Java, today. Spanning 14.8 kilometers, the project's cost of investment reached a total of Rp4 trillion.
In his speech at the inauguration location in Depok, Jokowi said that this toll road would complete the structure of the toll road network in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi.
"There is the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 1, and the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2 which are also only a few kilometers more. I asked the Minister of Public Works earlier if it could be completed in the second quarter of this year," the president said on Monday, January 8.
Jokowi said that the operation of the Pamulang-Cinere-Raya Bogor Toll Road will provide many options for the public, especially residents of Cibubur, Bogor, Tangerang, to reach important places such as Soekarno-Hatta Airport without needing to enter the city.
"The toll road will facilitate the mobility of people and logistics goods, which we hope will reduce traffic jams and provide people with an alternative road with better traffic."
