Dewi Nurita, Jakarta – The latest survey by pollster Politika Research & Consulting (PRC) showed that Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, and Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan topped the list of potential candidates for the 2024 presidential election.
"Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan still dominate the top three rankings," said PRC Executive Director Rio Prayogo in an online press conference on Monday, November 15.
PRC provided an open question to respondents about the most suitable presidential candidate. As a result, Prabowo took first place with an electability rating of 14.7 percent, followed by Ganjar Pranowo with 11 percent, and Anies with 7.7 percent.
The PRC also conducted a survey with 21 names. It turned out that Prabowo still leads the poll with an electability rating of 21.1 percent, followed by Ganjar 20.5 percent, and Anies 13.6 percent.
Among young voters, Prabowo occupied the top position with an electability rating of 13.2 percent, while Ganjar and Anies's electability ratings stood at 12.2 percent and 8.9 percent, respectively.
The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews from October 8 to November 4, 2021, and involved 1,220 respondents. The pollster used the multistage random sampling method. Its margin of error was claimed at 2.9 percent and the confidence level was 95 percent.
