Dewi Nurita, Jakarta – Fadli Zon, deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party's Board of Trustees, tested positively for Covid-19. The party's deputy chief, Habiburokhman, confirmed the report and said that Fadli is currently being treated at a hospital in Jakarta.
"His condition is stable, however, he was admitted to the hospital so that he can get maximum recovery," Habiburokhman told Tempo when contacted on Monday, May 31.
He said that so far no Gerindra faction members were exposed to Covid-19 after meeting Fadli.
Fadli Zon was confirmed to have the virus despite having taken two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and having an antibody level of 250 – as he said on Twitter, which is in a fairly good category.
"In the days leading up to 50 years [old], I finally got exposed to Covid-19. Last March I had two [doses] vaccines and my antibody titer test scored 250 (quite good)," Fadli Himsels said via his Twitter account @fadlizon.
Fadli Zon reminded the public that Covid-19 is real and has not gone away. He reminded people to remain vigilant and obey health protocols even though they have been injected with the Covid-19 vaccine.
