Joniansyah, Jakarta – State-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, known as InJourney Airports, will cut airport service charges by 50 percent for airline passengers and carriers at all 36 airports it manages ahead of the 2026 Christmas and 2027 New Year holidays.
InJourney Airports President Director Mohammad Rizal Pahlevi said the measure aims to support public mobility and help lower airfares during the year-end holiday period.
"The reduction in airport service charges will apply at all airports managed by the company," Rizal said on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
He said the policy follows Transportation Minister's Letter No. AU.007/1/1/MHB/2026 on Discounts for Airport Service Charges During the 2026 Christmas and 2027 New Year Period.
For passengers, the company will offer a 50 percent discount on the Passenger Service Charge (PSC), known in Indonesia as the Passenger Aircraft Service Charge (PJP2U).
The discount will apply to all domestic flight routes served by InJourney Airports. Tickets must be purchased between October 20, 2026, and January 10, 2027, for flights departing between December 22, 2026, and January 10, 2027.
The PSC covers passenger services at airports and is included in the price of an airline ticket. Cutting the charge is therefore expected to reduce the total amount passengers pay for their flights.
"The reduction in the PSC will affect the total ticket price paid by prospective passengers," Rizal said.
InJourney Airports will also cut charges for aircraft landing, parking and storage, known as PJP4U, by 50 percent for airlines. This discount will apply at all 36 airports from December 22, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
"The PJP4U discount aims to support airline operations and reflects InJourney Airports' commitment to an ecosystem-based approach to airport management," Rizal said.
Rizal said the discounts were expected to facilitate public travel, stimulate economic activity and encourage domestic tourist destinations to attract visitors during the year-end holiday season.
