BGN spends Rp113.9 billion on event organizer services

Novali Panji Nugroho, Jakarta – Indonesia's National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has been recorded frequently using event organizer (EO) services throughout its 2025 activities, with a total procurement budget reaching Rp113.9 billion.

BGN head Dadan Hindayana said the use of EO services reflects the operational needs of a relatively new institution still building its systems and governance structure.

"BGN does not yet have fully prepared internal resources to handle all the needs of large-scale activities independently," Dadan said in a written statement on April 12, 2026.

Tempo reviewed procurement data from the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP), which shows at least 31 EO service packages were contracted by BGN in the first year of implementing the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.

Most EO procurements were used for activities at BGN headquarters, while others supported internal capacity-building programs, including human resource development.

Tempo identified several companies appointed as EOs for these activities, including Azka Jaya Pratama (Rp419 million) and Senawangi Citra Imaji (Rp391.37 million).

BGN also contracted Maria Utara Jaya for technical guidance on risk management at regional nutrition service offices, with an EO procurement value of Rp18.47 billion.

The agency further held a World Anti-Corruption Day Fun Run event, appointing Kredo Aum as EO with a contract value of Rp1.339 billion.

In addition, BGN allocated Rp16.59 billion to Falah Eka Cahya for EO services supporting risk assessment trainer programs within nutrition service units.

For off-site meetings, BGN also used EO services, including contracts with Greenlite Kreasi Abadi (Rp465.55 million) and Gloria Abdi Cendana (Rp242 million).
