Antara, Jakarta – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto met with five national business leaders in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on late Tuesday, February 10, 2026. For about four hours, they discussed a wide range of topics, including the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated.
During the meeting, Prabowo emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the government, businesses, and all stakeholders to strengthen national competitiveness and accelerate economic development.
In a press release on Wednesday, as quoted from Antara, the meeting was described as warm and full of mutual cooperation spirit as part of strengthening the synergy between the government and national businesses.
The meeting, held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Jakarta time, was enlivened with open discussions on the national economic situation and opportunities for the development of strategic sectors that directly impact society.
The meeting was conducted upon request for an audience with Prabowo by the business leaders. The five national business leaders present were Prajogo Pangestu (Barito Pacific Group), Anthony Salim (Salim Group), Franky Widjaja (Sinar Mas Group), Boy Thohir (Adaro Energy), and Sugianto Kusuma (Agung Sedayu Group).
During the meeting, the business executives discussed economic challenges and opportunities with Prabowo. The head of state also underscored the importance of close collaboration between the government and the business world through the Indonesia Incorporated vision.
"Industrial development must directly be beneficial to people, create jobs, and strengthen the nation's self-reliance," said Prabowo.
The Head of State also invited business leaders to continue collaborating in opening and expanding job opportunities, strengthening the real sector, and promoting the growth of MSMEs as the backbone of the national economy.
In response, the business leaders expressed their joint commitment to fully support the government's policies under President Prabowo, ranging from poverty alleviation, improvement of children's nutritional intake and quality education, to the development of industries that prioritize national interests.
The business leaders pledged their support to Prabowo's government's endeavor in strategic sectors, which ranges from free nutritious meal, subsidized housing, and food and energy sovereignty.
