Hammam Izzuddin, Jakarta – Hacker Bjorka has claimed to have released the data of 341,000 Indonesian National Police personnel. The illegally obtained data was spread through Bjorka's personal website.

Cyber security expert, Teguh Aprianto, stated that the data contains the names, ranks, task units, and personal contacts of the police personnel. "In addition to BreachForums, it was also shared on his website," Teguh said when confirmed on Sunday, October 5th, 2025.

The hacker distributed the Indonesian National Police personnel data after the Jakarta Metropolitan Police apprehended an individual with the initials WFT, who claimed to be the owner of the account X Bjorka with the username @bjorkanesiaaa.

Teguh suspects that the person arrested by the police is not the real Bjorka. "It's just someone pretending to be Bjorka," Teguh said.

According to Tempo's investigation, Bjorka released the data of hundreds of thousands of Indonesian National Police personnel for free on Saturday, October 4th, 2025. The data was accessible to the public. However, it was not the latest data of the Police. The collected data represented the personnel's ranks and placements around the year 2016, so some names in the data are already retired.

As for WFT, who claimed to be Bjorka to extort a bank, was arrested by the police in Minahasa, North Sulawesi. Deputy Director of Cyber Reserves of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Adjunct Commissioner Fian Yunus, stated that WFT had been active on social media, claiming to be Bjorka since 2020. Nevertheless, Fian was unable to confirm whether WFT is the person behind the distribution of 1.3 billion SIM card data, IndiHome user data, KPU data, and transaction document data that had gained attention since 2022.

"Perhaps, anyone can be anyone on the internet. We need further investigation regarding the evidence we have found so that we can formulate it," Fian said at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025.

Tempo has contacted the Head of Public Relations Division of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Brigadier General Ade Ary, and the Head of Public Relations Bureau of the Indonesian National Police, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, regarding the alleged leakage of personal data of the Indonesian National Police personnel. However, neither has provided a statement.
