Mutia Yuantisya, Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named five suspects in the corruption case related to the construction of the flyover at the intersection of Jl. Tuanku Ambusai and Jl. Soekarno Hatta in Riau province during the 2018 fiscal year. The suspects were named on Friday, January 10.
The five suspects are Yunnaris (YN), Head of the Construction and Bridge Division of the Riau Provincial Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency; a private party that took over the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) work from PT Plato Isoiki Gusrizal (GR); President Director of PT Semangat Hasrat Jaya, Triandi Chandra (TC); President Director of PT Sumbersari Ciptamarga, Elpi Sandra (ES); and Head of PT Yodya Karya Pekanbaru Branch, Nurbaiti (NR).
"PT Yodya Karya Pekanbaru Branch is the company that was awarded the Construction Management Consultant (MK) job for the flyover construction at Jl. Tuanku Tambusai – Jl. Soekarno Hatta in the Riau province during the 2018 fiscal year," said the investigation chief of KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, in an official statement on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
In January 2018, one of the suspects, Yunnaris, allegedly prepared an Owner Estimation (HPS) without detailed calculations, measurement data support, and changes in design drawings. However, there was a change in the contract value for the project.
In the process, Asep said, all parties were involved in falsifying data and signatures in the contract documents. In addition, there were subcontracts that were awarded without the initial approval of the PPK, with contract values much higher than the unit price analysis. Therefore, it is suspected that there has been a state financial loss of Rp60.8 billion from the contract value of Rp159.3 billion.
The suspects are charged with Article 2, paragraph (1), or Article 3 of the Corruption Eradication Law and Article 55 paragraph 1 point 1 of the Criminal Code. KPK also issues an overseas travel ban against the 5 suspects.
