Dewi Nurita, Jakarta – Constitutional law expert Feri Amsari argues that the presidential election lawsuit submitted by Prabowo-Sandiaga Uno to the Constitutional Court would need a miracle to win seeing the lack of evidence presented by the opposition camp.
"It would be somewhat of a miracle to win the lawsuit," said Feri Amsari on Tuesday regarding their 37-page of evidentiary items proposed to the court.
Moreover, he argues the pieces of evidence acts as supporting evidence that lacks the significance to affect the final outcome announced by the General Elections Commission (KPU). He also deemed that what was brought to the table cannot prove the existence of systematic and massive election fraud.
The enormous gap of 17 million votes according to Feri will only make it more difficult for Prabowo's camp to prove systematic election fraud across 50 percent of Indonesia's regions.
"Proving systematic vote rigging in 50 percent of the entire Indonesian regions will be extremely difficult," says Feri.
The legal team representing Prabowo – Sandiaga Uno handed over 51 pieces of evidence upon proving massive rigging to the Constitutional Court (MK). Parts of the evidence are in the form of a printed list that comprises of news links.
