Irsyan Hasyim and Aji Noegroho, Jakarta – The house belonging to democracy activist and Jakarta State University (UNJ) lecturer Robertus Robert in Depok, West Java, is seen deserted on Friday after his parents left the house at 1 a.m. last night.

"His parents went out with an online taxi at around 01:00 at dawn," said Hardono, member of the Depok military command district (Kodam) intelligence on Friday, March 8.

According to Hardono, military (TNI) members; the Army (TNI AD), Navy (AL), and Air Force (AU), have been monitoring Robertus' house. He says that it is the military's attempt to prevent unwanted occurrences.

He explained that the surveillance was conducted by a joint team composed of military intelligence and Buser Team from the Depok City police department.

The undercover surveillance, he said, is driven by the fact that the video of Robertus Robet's oration has gone viral across TNI members' group chat services and made worse by the dissemination of his personal home address.

In a previous report, police also announced that it has provided surveillance and mobilized several police members to stand guard in the vicinity of Robertus Robet's house.
